Selling this for my brother in law who has owned it since 2017.
Full disclosure, He developed a crack in the right chain stay a while back in an apparently common area for this model and it was repaired by a carbon repair place in Austin/San Antonio area, c6 Carbon Fiber repair. Later, another crack formed on the right seat stay which was also repaired (by our shop that time).
Then recently another crack near the original crack on the right chain stay was found and repaired by C6 in Austin/San Antonio again.
Hopefully that area is now much stronger than before and will not have any future issues but cannot guarantee it. My brother in law loves to jump and rides hard so potentially with a less aggressive rider, it could be problem free. It could be a great bike for a beginner, kid, or for someone looking for backup bike.
The Fox shock was just serviced by Fox a year or so ago with very little use since. It has a lockout system that goes from 140mm of travel to 85mm of travel with the flick of a switch on the bars which helps with climbing.
Brand new this was a $6100 bike back in 2015. The original owner upgraded the wheels to the top of the line Team version Crossmax SLR wheelset (lighter). The whole bike only weighs 27.7 lbs w/ pedals! Impressive for a 140mm trail bike w/ a dropper these days.
